Aim strives to be your trusted advocate, and serving elected officials and municipal employees has always been at the heart of our mission. We provide top-notch education, training, and networking events across the state. We’re also focused on facilitating meetings between local leaders and legislators so that we can build relationships through transparent and productive communication.
Similarly, we’ve reimagined our advocacy efforts to become nimble and proactive. Our purpose in collaborating with legislators and other organizations is to “foster, promote, and advocate for the success of Hoosier municipalities as laboratories of innovation, hubs of talent, and the engines driving our state’s economy.”

Indiana Elected Municipal Officials Handbook
The Indiana Elected Municipal Officials Handbook is a 200-page reference guide published by Aim for city and town officials. The handbook reviews the structure and operations of city and town government, applicable statutes, and sources of state and federal programs. Each municipal official registered for Boot Camp will receive one of these coveted handbooks.
